Jung's World Class Taekwondo

Our school was established in 2006 after Master Jung left Boston, MA to bring his teachings to North Carolina.  Our school is a proud member of the World Taekwondo Federation (WTF).  This allows you to transfer to other WTF schools at the same belt rank so you won't lose any time spent training. 

 Belt ranking system for our school:

• White
• Yellow
• Green
• Orange
• Blue
• High Blue
• Brown
• Purple
• Red
• Deputy Black or High Red
• Black 

Each testing consists of demonstrating knowledge of certain technical kicks, blocks and punches at each level.  Along with learning forms or Taeguks/Poomses, which are choreographed
sequences of blocks, kicks and punches.  Each test also includes a specific board breaking kick, which is fun for people of all ages!

Since Taekwondo is also an Olympic sport in, we also have sparring training several nights per week.  Sparring allows you to practice your training in a safe, controlled environment.  Sparring is conducted for all age groups but can only begin once you have achieved the yellow belt rank.
